LIS Integration

Virtuoso digital pathology software is integrated with some of the major anatomic pathology (AP) Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

The Virtuoso LIS integration provides pathologists with relevant case information generated by lab tests along with patient demographics, order and results entry, specimen processing, and reporting, within the clinical workflow.

This integration offers critical efficiency improvements in the areas of digital slide analysis, case management and reporting. Laboratories have access to complete case history in a digital format, improving the quality of results reported to the clinician. The interface allows pathologists to access Virtuoso from within the LIS:

  • Past cases of the same patient can be easily accessed
  • Slides relevant to the current case can be referenced
  • Past cases with similar pathology can be studied

The Virtuoso LIS integration will benefit laboratories and create a new standard of care for the AP practice.
